bash:ifconfig command not found

第一次接触arch，安装环境：VMware 11.0；arch版本：2015-08-01
按照wiki新手教程安装完成后reboot，进入命令行界面，无法正常联网，ifconfig 提示：-bash:ifconfig command not found；
1、设置虚拟机网络方式：NAT和桥接都不行。
2、查看ip addr 显示是down状态 用论坛里网友的解决方式 ifconfig eno16777736 up 失败；查看echo $PATH 结果没有/sbin这个目录  所以通过执行export ifconfig=$PATH:/sbin  虽然命令正常执行完  但是运行ifconfig还是提示command not found。
3、我想安装net-tools，结果选择y后，一大串error报错，安装不成功。
4、我想编辑/etc/profile,结果提示没有该文件……
5、运行/sbin/ifconfig就更不行了。
所以我想求助论坛里的大神，有没有根治方法？

ifconfig 淘汰了，现在用 ip 命令。

ifconfig 是在 net-tools 这个包里，用livecd重新chroot进去装呗
但是无法联网的问题，肯定不是没装这个包的原因

net-tools自2011年就被踢出base组了（https://www.archlinux.org/news/deprecat … net-tools/）

请用iproute2。
